Plug the vault into Claude

Send Authorization: Bearer <your licence key> on every request. The snippets below fill in your key automatically when it is saved on this device.

Run this once in your terminal. It adds the server for your user, so it works in every project.

Check it with claude mcp list, or type /mcp inside a session. Prefer a shared project config? Put this in .mcp.json at the repo root:

Then set AIBRAINMCP_KEY in your shell profile so the key never lands in git.

1. Open Claude Desktop, go to Settings, then Developer, then Edit Config.
2. Add the block below to claude_desktop_config.json. It uses mcp-remote to pass your key as a header, so you need Node.js installed.
3. Quit Claude Desktop fully and reopen it. The vault shows up under the tools icon.

Config file location: ~/Library/Application Support/Claude/ on Mac, %APPDATA%\Claude\ on Windows.

We email your key to the address you paid with. It never shows on screen without that email.
